We just spent about 2 hours figuring out how to put up the wall decal together. Or rather, Tony stuck on lots of it, while I cut up the pieces and took happy snaps and drove him nuts unsticking some of what he stuck and resticking them “just because”. It’s nice to chronicle evidence for the kid that we can work as a team – heh heh!
We’re still about halfway through getting the nursery done, but it’s amazing how a simple tree with gormless owls can pull a room together.

So lovely! The pink leaves really work! Feminine but not too girly.

This gorgeous but rather expensive online Aussie wall decal retailer called My Munchkin Home. But there are waaaay cheaper ones on Etsy… just that I fell in love with this after seeing it in a magazine. Struck just the right balance between the Whimsy and Aww-Baby-Girl.

The owls look so cute but your Tony the owl looks the cutest.

Heh heh! Tony DOES look like an owl, doesn’t he. Yeah, he’s my favourite one.

Today, I went to the beach with my children.
I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell
to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is entirely
off topic but I had to tell someone!
