“Birth plan? How’s this for a birth plan?
Next Friday (5 December) is when the first Indian test match is playing. Bub’s gonna be a few days late by then. You go into labour, I’ll sit outside with a transistor radio and wait for you.”
~ Tony, loving husband, mad cricket fan.
Velle
I come from a much smaller island-city-state-country called Singapore. I’ve been setting down roots in Australia since 2003. I love both countries immensely. In 1986, I became a writer. In 2002, a blogger. In 2004, a wife. In 2011, a mother. Somewhere in amongst all that, I did event and conference management, public relations, marketing, and online communications for over a decade. I’m currently a freelance web manager for a modern dance school, a part-time Communications and Marketing Manager, a part-time writer, and a part-time stay-at-home mother. I don’t sleep much.

If my husband uttered such a soccer corollary, I would not be half as humorous. Everyday that I don’t see a post from you, I wonder if bub’s the reason :) Only 3 more days to the end of November!

Nope, not given birth yet. Was just watching Midsomer Murders with the MIL, and it finished real late!
And yes, Tony’s dry humour. It’s funny because it’s dreadfully ironic.Otherwise, he would never live to be the father of my children. ;-)
